L012 Snake River Overlook
$ 99.00
My wife Nancy and I honeymooned in the Grand Teton National Park, and we've returned numerous times over the years. It's one of our favorite National Parks.
This vantage of the Snake River overlook, was made famous years ago by Ansel Adam's striking B&W photograph from the same spot. That picture was featured in one of my college Geology textbooks, and it was hard for me to believe such beauty existed, let alone that I would see it with my own eyes someday. The winter photograph was a challenge to make. Sub zero temperatures made for cold fingers and toes, but the beautiful sunrise light made up for my discomfort.
