Florida is paradise to a midwesterner in the winter. After an art fair, I wandered over to an island on the gulf side of the coast. There was this scene: palm trees, a golf course, and in the distance, the ocean. I found a place to set up my tripod and shot the daytime scene.
The only thing more spectacular than palm trees and the ocean in Florida, is watching the sunset. I went back that evening after enjoying a day of shelling, eating sea food, and relaxing on the beach, and found my tripod marks. As the sun went down, I shot a series of images. The two pictures together really say "Florida" to me.
