L281 Eclipse

$ 99.00

August of 2017, there was a solar eclipse. But I needed to get to Kentucky to get the full two minutes of totality. I packed four cameras and headed south.

I ended up in a little county park, visiting with local Kentuckians and we had lunch and all waited for the eclipse. What an amazing experience to see the earth darken, hear the birds start their night songs right in the middle of the day! I used all my cameras and took lots of pictures of the eclipse before and after and pictures of all the great shadows on the ground.

Once back home, I combined the eclipse with a great shot I'd taken of the full moon. The resulting changing image feels magical.
